Job Overview

This role is responsible for leading the delivery of engineering projects, scoping new projects and securing capital approval. The Project Engineer will work closely with the Engineering Project Delivery Team to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of engineering projects on time, within budget and in accordance with all project and business safety and quality goals.
  • Scope new engineering projects and secure capital approval.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Troubleshoot process-specific equipment issues.
  • Coordinate specialist trades and departments.
  • Manage project interfaces with other projects and departments.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation.
  • Estimate costs and create project schedules.
  • Report project progress and manage risks.
Requirements
  • A relevant third-level qualification in chemistry or engineering.
  • At least 5 years experience working in a pharmaceutical or medical device background.
  • Background in an active pharmaceutical ingredients API environment.
  • Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills.
  • Initiative and motivation to drive project success.
