Project Engineer - Pharma & Industrial Projects

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to lead the delivery of complex pharma and industrial projects from design through to handover. Your key responsibilities will include overseeing design coordination, fit-out execution, and ensuring alignment with client specifications.

As a successful candidate, you will have a strong working knowledge of BCAR, quality systems, and design & fit-out processes. You will also possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, as well as the ability to work independently and lead multidisciplinary teams.

Our ideal candidate is degree-qualified in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline, with proven experience in pharma or industrial projects. A strong track record of delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the engineering delivery of pharma and industrial projects from design through to handover.
  • Oversee design coordination, fit-out execution, and ensure alignment with client specifications.
  • Ensure full compliance with BCAR and other regulatory frameworks.
  • Champion quality assurance throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Act as the primary liaison with clients, consultants, and subcontractors, ensuring clear communication and strong relationships.
  • Collaborate with site teams to resolve technical challenges and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Degree-qualified in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in pharma or industrial projects, ideally with a Tier 1 contractor.
  • Strong working knowledge of BCAR, quality systems, and design & fit-out processes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead multidisciplinary teams.
