Mental Health Specialist

This role presents an opportunity to contribute to a multidisciplinary team delivering recovery-focused, evidence-based psychological care to adults experiencing various mental health challenges.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, including clinical interviews, psychometric testing, and structured observations, to develop a profound understanding of clients' difficulties.
- Formulate sophisticated psychological explanations of clients' issues, drawing on diverse theoretical models.
- Provide individual and group-based therapeutic interventions (e.g. CBT, DBT-informed approaches, ACT, schema therapy, psychoeducation) tailored to meet clients' unique needs.
- Support clients in establishing recovery-oriented goals and treatment plans.
- Offer family and carer support sessions when necessary.
The successful candidate will collaborate with a Mental Health Team to promote recovery, enhance well-being, and minimize the impact of mental health difficulties on service users and their families.
