Group Accountant

Job Description:

The Role involves managing a significant client in Cork, preparing accurate financial statements and management reports to ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP standards.

Key Responsibilities include assisting the client with annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. Ensuring timely delivery of audit requirements is also essential.

Additional responsibilities involve maintaining compliance with local regulations, tax laws, and corporate policies.

Qualifications and Skills Required:
  • Fully-qualified ACA, ACCA, or CPA qualifications.
  • A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in group accounting or a similar role within a practice.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero, along with advanced Excel skills.
