About this role:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our EMEA Finance team. This permanent role will play a key part in completing financial control processes, report production, timely issue resolution, and providing ad-hoc support to regional finance teams.The successful candidate will have experience in a corporate financial control environment with a sound knowledge of accounting, reporting, and financial control requirements, as well as statutory and audit requirements. They will also possess strong written and verbal communication skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to adapt and react positively in a changing work environment.Responsibilities:
  • Produce monthly management accounts for multiple legal entities
  • Complete month-end analytics and trend data to assist with reviewing and validating financial results
  • Prepare reconciliations and ensure all documentation and accounting is completed according to corporate requirements and policies
  • Completion of annual statutory accounts for multiple legal entities, provide inputs and information to the audit process, and work with auditors to complete the audit process and finalize the statutory accounts
  • Respond to and resolve queries from business and finance colleagues as they arise
  • Complete centralized financial processes and accounting operations for the EMEA region
  • Work with the EMEA Financial Control Team to implement standardized process improvements identified in day-to-day activities
  • Provide technical input to systems and business process projects as required
Key Qualifications:
  • A qualified accountant (preferable ACA / ACCA) with post-qualified experience in a multi-currency financial services environment
  • Experience in dealing with stakeholders across multiple locations
  • Highly numerate with strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
  • Proven ability to assess issues, identify solutions, and problem-solve
  • Ability to adapt and react positively in a changing and dynamic work environment
  • Flexible approach towards changing work methods, deadlines, and variable workloads
  • Experience of US GAAP or IFRS would be an advantage
  • Advanced level of IT skills notably MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
