Job Title: Senior Electrical Design Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced senior electrical design specialist to join our team in Dublin or Cork.

  • Producing technical specifications and detailed designs for electrical systems.
  • Liaising with other disciplines to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Delivering a high calibre of technical quality, contributing to project proposals, interfacing with clients and collaborators in design and planning.
  • Managing project timelines and budgets to meet client expectations.
  • Coordinating with power utility companies and managing power supply upgrades.

Requirements:

  • 8 years plus as a senior engineer, covering the duties as listed above.
  • Candidates with chartership or in the process of attaining chartership will have a distinct advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have a valid Irish driving licence.
  • Candidates must be fluent in English and eligible to work in Ireland.
  • Proficient in software such as Dialux, Amtech (Trimble) Etap, Eracs Cdegs etc.
  • Detailed electrical design experience (LV, MV,HV) in data center/building services environment.
  • Sound knowledge of key Health and Safety issues and legislation.
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications word, excel etc.
  • Ability to prioritise own workload.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
  • Managerial and leadership skills.
  • Presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Background in consulting or construction preferred.
  • Good understanding of international working and business operations of a global consultancy.
  • Act in an ethical manner and follow the principles of the Ethics Charter and Ethics in Practice Guidelines of the Group.
