API Integration Expert Job Description

As an expert in API integration, you will be accountable for delivering effective solution designs within a leading bank's platform, taking the lead on delivery from an API design perspective.

You will have the opportunity to design end-to-end API solutions to meet business needs within the context of a broader solution implementation. The successful candidate will contribute to overall solution planning, providing input into the estimation process as well as highlighting technical risks, issues and assumptions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review design artefacts from other API solution architects
  • Define standard methodologies in the API space, adopting industry standards and highlighting areas for improvement
  • Produce required design artefacts independently or as part of a team
  • Present to the Architecture Review Board when necessary and engage with key partners across the enterprise architect function and business
  • Ensure solutions align with strategic architecture principles and direction
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • 3rd level degree in a related subject area or equivalent experience
