Product Owner

Kitman Labs is the performance intelligence company disrupting and transforming the way sports data is used to unlock athlete potential. The company aims to innovate in sports performance, analytics, and user experience.

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead product delivery initiatives from conception through launch. This role requires strategic thinkers with emphasis on executing product vision, stakeholder management, and facilitating successful product lifecycle.

This role will focus on reporting, analytics, and visualisation. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading full delivery lifecycle for assigned products and features from ideation through release and beyond, ensuring quality and alignment with business goals.
  • Prioritising product features and building consensus across stakeholders to foster shared vision for product direction.
  • Driving efficient product execution with cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and data scientists.
  • Collaborating closely with development teams to transform requirements into actionable stories and delivering high-quality products on schedule.
  • Partnering with UX/UI designers to deliver optimal customer experience and iterating on user-centric product requirements.
  • Developing and managing product backlogs, refining to align with evolving priorities and business needs.
  • Defining and monitoring key performance indicators that measure product success, continuously seeking opportunities for optimisation.
  • Supporting marketing and related teams to develop effective go-to-market strategies, ensuring product positioning aligns with user needs and market opportunities.
  • Communicating progress, challenges, and decisions effectively to stakeholders, acting as central point for product delivery.

The ideal candidate has:

  • Proven experience in Product Manager/Product Owner role, focusing on product delivery in software or technology-driven environment.
  • Strong understanding of full product development lifecycle from ideation to market launch and ongoing iteration.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and create alignment between stakeholders with diverse backgrounds.
  • Solid experience working directly with development teams, including creating user stories, managing backlogs, and ensuring clear requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills to define, measure, and communicate product performance using data-driven insights to guide decision-making.
  • Ability to clearly articulate product strategies, delivery progress, and decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience collaborating with design teams to deliver user-focused solutions and conducting usability studies.
  • Effective collaboration with marketing teams to create go-to-market plans and customer-facing materials.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills for customer-facing content and product documentation.
