Job Title:

Quality Assurance Specialist

 

This role is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety are maintained in production processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food science and relevant industry experience.

  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and good practices for internal use based on guidelines defined by regulatory bodies and other external organizations.
  • Conduct inspections, audits, and ensure adherence to hygiene practices.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation control.
  • Coordinate and manage CAPA status updates and collaborate with stakeholders on implementation and follow-up.
  • Manage HACCP plans using risk analysis methods and coordinate the food safety team.
  • Establish rules based on Ferrero Group guidelines and external standards.
  • Draft manuals, procedures, and manage plant quality documentation systems.
  • Supervise external contractors, including pest control, cleaning, and calibration.
  • Coordinate and manage food safety related projects.

  • Develop and maintain effective food safety systems.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Food Science or equivalent.
  • 5+ years experience in food safety or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations and HACCP principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
