Main Purpose:

This role is designed to develop future store leaders who can drive sales growth, manage teams effectively, and maintain high store standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To support the management team in all aspects of store operations.
  • To gain detailed experience in individual departments throughout the store.
  • To set, monitor, and achieve sales targets with the team on gross profit margin, net margin, waste, and other KPIs as agreed with Store Manager.
  • To participate in all training and development initiatives, and performance assessments.
  • To merchandise and present the store to the highest standard at all times, following store planograms and guidelines.
  • To implement planograms correctly and ensure the correct range is in place in store.
  • To gain competence with all aspects of supply procedures: ordering, delivery, stock rotation, and control.
  • To manage assigned departments.
  • To engage with new initiatives and embrace new ways of working.

About the Locality:

The store operates from 6am to 10pm daily most of the year. During busy times, especially around peak periods, longer hours are required. You will be rostered to work 45 hours per week, mostly 9-hour days.

The store is located approximately 40-50km from Limerick city suburbs, 70km from Killarney, 60km from Tralee, and 240km from Dublin.
