Job Title: Store Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled retail professional to join our team at an exciting stage of expansion.

  • Support the store manager in ensuring seamless operations and maintaining high standards throughout the store.
  • Lead the store team to deliver exceptional customer service and consistent in-store excellence.
  • Contribute to achieving sales, margin, and performance targets across all departments.
  • Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and training new team members for the store opening.
  • Implement and maintain high standards in merchandising, cleanliness, stock control, and health & safety.
  • Manage cash handling, shift planning, and problem-solving as needed.
  • Deliver strong communication and foster a positive, motivated team environment.
  • In the absence of the store manager, take ownership and lead the team through the store's successful launch and ongoing growth.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in supermarket or convenience retail management is essential.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills are required.
  • A hands-on approach with the ability to motivate and develop a new team is necessary.
  • Commercial awareness and a focus on delivering KPIs and customer satisfaction are essential.
  • A passion for retail and excitement to be part of a new store opening is desirable.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, during the store setup and launch phase is required.
