As a Technical Account Manager at Gong, you will bridge the gap between our customers, CSMs, and product/engineering teams. Your goal is to ensure seamless integration, expert consultation, and technical support to maximise the value of our solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with clients on customisation options, system configurations, and optimisation strategies to enhance our platform's performance.
  2. Provide guidance and recommendations on best practices for implementing and utilising our solutions.
  3. Act as a subject matter expert, providing in-depth knowledge and guidance to customers on our current products (Engage, Forecast, AI).
  4. Partner with Professional Services or Customer Success upon request to provide expertise on customer engagements and drive adoption.
  5. Establish our post-sale motion to support the go-live of new features and products, focusing on their impact on existing methodologies.
  6. Conduct integration consultations with customers to facilitate seamless integration of third-party tools or into their systems and processes.
  7. Address complex technical setup questions from clients, troubleshoot issues, and provide effective solutions to technical challenges.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a technical account management or similar role, preferably in a technology-driven industry.
  • Strong technical acumen and understanding of software development, database management, API integrations, and other technical concepts.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong executive presence and confidence in speaking to C-Level executives.
  • Top-tier project management skills; ability to take ownership and drive progress forward, escalate blockers as needed.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with product and engineering, as well as GTM teams (Sales, Customer Success).
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional technical support and consultation to clients.
