Job Opportunity: Asset Reliability Specialist

The position of Asset Reliability Specialist is a critical role within our Asset Management team, focused on enhancing the operational availability, performance, and lifecycle value of assets across Dublin. Utilizing data-driven analysis, this specialist will identify potential system failures, recommend corrective and preventive actions, and ensure maintenance strategies are optimized to reduce downtime, improve resilience, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA), fault trend analysis, and failure mode assessments for critical systems and equipment.
  • Use Maximo (MMS) data to analyze asset performance, reliability trends, and maintenance effectiveness across all affected properties.
  • Recommend modifications to maintenance regimes to increase Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and reduce Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance and Project teams to embed predictive and condition-based maintenance strategies.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Reliability Engineering (or related discipline).
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in asset reliability, maintenance engineering, or performance analytics.
  • Strong proficiency with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (Maximo preferred).
  • Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, Weibull analysis, or similar reliability methodologies.
  • Familiarity with lifecycle costing and whole-of-life asset performance evaluation.
