Tax Consultant Role Summary

This role presents an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals to join a dynamic team and contribute their expertise in tax consulting. As a Tax Consultant, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients across various industries, providing comprehensive indirect tax services, and collaborating closely with senior management to deliver high-end VAT advisory and consulting services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing a diverse portfolio of indirect tax clients across multiple industries
  • Closely collaborating with senior management to deliver expert VAT advisory and consulting services
  • Providing support in optimizing the VAT function through technology solutions and liaising with clients on advisory assignments
  • Full commercial management for client work and corresponding with revenue authorities on behalf of clients
  • Coaching and mentoring junior staff members and presenting in-house VAT training courses
  • Contributing to the development and growth of the practice

A minimum of 3 years of experience in Irish VAT compliance and advisory assignments is required. Desirable experience in VAT on property transactions, RCT, due diligence projects, and cross-border transactions is beneficial. A strong academic background with a degree in accounting, economics, finance, law, or a relevant field is essential, along with part or fully qualified AITI/CTA or an equivalent qualification.
