Job Description

The Stores Manager is responsible for overseeing the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods. This role requires strong organizational skills to maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely delivery.

This position involves managing plant & tools registers, coordinating with multiple stakeholders to meet storage and distribution needs, and implementing tight inventory management procedures.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining an efficient and organized store environment, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receiving and storing goods in a secure and accessible manner.
  • Conducting regular stock checks to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Identifying areas for improvement and implementing initiatives to enhance cost effectiveness.
  • Managing the Quarantine area to ensure all materials are accounted for.
  • Coordinating site visits to ensure compliance with storage requirements.
  • Maintaining accurate records of equipment calibration and asset registers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience managing a stores environment.
  • Knowledge of mechanical industry or related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
