This is a compelling opportunity for an ambitious and experienced solicitor to join a highly-regarded team in the funds sector at one of Ireland's largest full-service law firms.

About the Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
  • Fund Formation & Structuring: Advising on various investment funds (private equity, hedge, venture capital, real estate) and suitable structures (e.g., ICAVs), plus regulatory considerations.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Drafting/reviewing fund documentation and ensuring regulatory compliance (e.g., AIFMD).
  • Licence Applications: Supporting applications for Central Bank of Ireland authorization for regulated financial services providers.
  • Client Advisory & Transaction Support: Providing strategic guidance on fund governance, operations, and assisting with fund mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings.
  • Collaboration & Business Development: Working with internal and external stakeholders, actively contributing to know-how and business development.
Requirements
  • Qualified Solicitor in Ireland with 1-3 years PQE in financial services or funds.
  • Proven ability in legal research, drafting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen and client-focused approach.
