Financial Analyst Role

This position involves collaborating with the finance department to provide timely and relevant insights for informed decision making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Generate weekly profit and loss statements and monthly management accounts to highlight key performance indicators and deviations.
  • Analysis & Insight: Analyse operational and commercial performance to identify issues and drive performance improvements.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure balance sheet reconciliations, VAT returns, and other regulatory compliance-related tasks are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Transfer Pricing Oversight: Monitor and report on transfer pricing controls, escalating any identified issues.
  • Commercial Finance Administration: Verify customer pricing accuracy, manage customer rebate agreements, and maintain customer rebate accruals.
Requirements
  • Accounting qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA with 0-1 year post-qualification experience.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, FMCG, multi-site environment.
  • Advanced Excel user with a hands-on approach to achieving objectives.
