This busy Cardiology Department provides a comprehensive range of diagnostic examinations at both inpatient and outpatient level. The team is dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care.
The Cardiology Department performs various diagnostic investigations, including ECG recording/interpretation, 24-hour ambulatory ECG monitoring, and Exercise ECG tests led by cardiac physiologists.
The ideal candidate will have experience in performing, interpreting, and reporting 12-lead ECGs, Exercise ECG tests, and ambulatory ECG and BP monitoring.
The successful candidate will work within a multidisciplinary team to provide a high-quality service, adhering to health and safety legislation and maintaining confidentiality of patient information.
They will also be responsible for coordinating and delivering services, reviewing and evaluating quality, and promoting good working practices and uniformity of standards.
The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely.
A commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining up-to-date knowledge and skills is essential.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform, interpret, and report 12-lead ECGs
- Perform, interpret, and report Exercise ECG tests
- Perform, interpret, and report ambulatory ECG and BP monitoring
- Work within a multidisciplinary team to provide a high-quality service
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Coordinate and deliver services
- Review and evaluate quality
- Promote good working practices and uniformity of standards
- BSc in Clinical Measurement or equivalent relevant scientific qualification
- Experience in performing, interpreting, and reporting 12-lead ECGs, Exercise ECG tests, and ambulatory ECG and BP monitoring
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to present information clearly and concisely
