Senior Radiographer MRI Role

This role involves providing high-quality MRI services to patients as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a hospital setting. The successful candidate will have strong leadership qualities, management skills, and professional competence to deliver excellent patient care.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Effective self-management of workload and resources, adapting practice accordingly.
  • Leadership and healthy working relationships, strategic and clinical leadership.
  • Deputising for the CSR during absenteeism and carrying out general and complex radiographic procedures.
  • Organising, planning, and prioritising workload according to clinical need, implementing change in practice based on evidence-based practice.
  • Liaising with consultants, developing individualised view protocols, and maintaining accurate information systems for clinical data.

The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive knowledge of diagnostic radiography, awareness of roles, abilities, and limitations of multi-disciplinary team members, and be able to manage in a rapidly changing environment.

Requirements:
  • Possess a Degree in Radiography or Diploma of The College of Radiographers.
  • Be registered in the Radiographer's Division by The Radiographers Registration Board maintained at CORU.
  • Have not less than 3 years full-time post-qualification clinical experience.
  • Possess a recognised postgraduate course as recognised by the IIRRT (desirable) or relevant clinical experience in a specialised Modality.
