Dedicated Respite Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a full-time Respite Social Care Worker. The role involves providing personal care and support to individuals with intellectual disabilities in a respite service setting.
The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to caring, empathy, excellent people skills, flexibility, and experience working in complex environments.
This position requires the ability to implement and review care plans, facilitate communication and independence, and promote community involvement and future aspirations for our service users.
Requirements- A relevant degree in social care or social care studies, or equivalent qualification.
- Registration with CORU, or eligibility to register, and/or relevant experience in intellectual disability care.
The successful candidate will be an empathetic and patient individual who can build trust through consistent care, respect dignity and choice, and adhere to policies, procedures, and statutory legislation.
