Job Title: Team Leader

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Team Leader in our organisation. As a Team Leader, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality services to our clients and supporting the Residential Services Manager in achieving our goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service Delivery: Manage the day-to-day delivery of a person-centred service for all clients, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Staff Management: Provide support to staff team within the respite service, maintaining staff rotas, training, leadership, supervision, support/care plans, and communication across various staff shifts.
  • Liaison and Communication: Liaise with families and other personnel as directed by the Centre Manager, providing clear and concise information and updates.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to and ensure the required standards in line with HIQA regulations, reporting to HIQA as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a leadership or management role, preferably in a healthcare or social care setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of HIQA regulations and Rehab Care standards, with the ability to implement and maintain compliance.
