Renewable Energy Development Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and experienced Renewable Energy Developer to join our team in Cork, Ireland. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in renewable energy project management and be able to support the development of solar and wind projects from green field development to pre-construction.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organized individual to join our dynamic team and contribute to the growth of our renewable energy portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the planning, management, and delivery of solar and wind projects at all stages of development
  • Communicating and engaging with landowners to agree on land acquisition terms
  • Liaising with external consultants to provide technical and environmental advice
  • Engaging with our technical team to develop site layouts and conduct initial yield analysis
  • Coordinating with our renewables project team to manage land, planning, and stakeholder engagement issues
  • Progressing grid applications and engaging with relevant DNOs
  • Reporting on project progress through written status reports and presentations

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into practical recommendations. They will also be organized, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:
  • At least 2-3 years of experience working in a similar capacity within the energy or a related industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to translate complex technical information into practical recommendations
  • Organized and self-motivated with a strong attention to detail
  • Clean driving license and right to work in EU/Ireland
