Senior Infrastructure Automation Specialist

Our organization is undertaking a significant transformation of our technology infrastructure, with automation at its core. About the Role
  • Design, develop, and maintain automation workflows and infrastructure-as-code modules using Ansible, Terraform, and scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell.
  • Integrate automation into our internal developer platform and toolchains, including VMware, Azure, and GitHub workflows.
  • Standardize automation frameworks and templates to ensure reuse and consistent delivery across infrastructure teams.
  • Collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams to identify manual processes and replace them with robust automated solutions.
  • Deliver against our Infrastructure Automation Programme roadmap, meeting agreed KPIs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Ansible and Terraform in enterprise environments.
  • Proficiency in Python and PowerShell scripting.
  • Familiarity with Git-based workflows (GitHub or GitLab).
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure components including compute, storage, networking, and virtualization.
  • Working knowledge of VMware and Azure cloud services.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
