
Injury Claim Resolution Specialist

We are seeking a Claims Handler to join our team in handling liability claims from registration to settlement, including direct settlement, pre-litigation and litigation damage & injury team type settlements.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of liability claims handling and a good understanding of the Personal Injuries Assessment Board and litigation processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide first telephone contact for customers in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Capture all necessary information at the notification stage in a comprehensive and accurate manner.
- Make accurate decisions on the outcome of the claim at an early stage to reduce claims cost and lifecycle.
- Target claims for settlement direct with the claimant, ensuring these claims are dealt with in a proactive, fair, and compliant manner.
- Hold an APA Qualification in both Personal and Commercial Insurance.
- Minimum 2 years+ experience in handling a similar claims portfolio.
- Strong technical knowledge of liability claims handling and a good understanding of the Personal Injuries Assessment Board and litigation processes.
- Significant experience managing multiple stakeholders.
- Pro-active and highly organized.
- Highly analytical with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong professional relationship builder.
- Positive attitude and ownership of own development.
