We are seeking a skilled professional to join our Reinsurance Accounting team as a Financial Analyst. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing an assigned broker/cedent insurance/reinsurance facultative and treaty portfolio, verifying, processing, monitoring, and analyzing regular accounts, commutation accounts, cash losses, profit & loss calculations, and year-end related documents against treaty terms and contractual conditions.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or a relevant discipline and at least 3 years of experience in reinsurance accounting. Strong technical and analytical skills, problem-solving orientation, and the ability to take decisions are essential. Proficiency in Excel and MS Office is also required. Experience in eMessaging (electronic messaging) and the reinsurance data system SICS is a plus.As a Financial Analyst, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, perform periodic SOX- and operational controls, and assure the correctness of quarterly closing tasks assigned.
