We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Nurse Specialist (CAMHS ID) to join our team in delivering high-quality, recovery-oriented care for individuals with intellectual disabilities and mental health disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans to support the needs of individuals with intellectual disabilities and mental health disorders.\
  • To work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective, integrated care and promote positive outcomes for individuals and their families.\
  • To stay up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based interventions in the field of mental health and intellectual disability.\
  • To participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.\
  • To contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote quality care and safety.\
  • To collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to improve communication and coordination of care.\\[/ul]\

Requirements:

  • \
  • A registered nurse/midwife on the active Register of Nurses and Midwives held by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland.\
  • Registration in the Psychiatric division of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland register or eligibility for registration.\
  • A minimum of 1 year's post-registration full-time experience in the Psychiatric division or aggregate experience equivalent to 1 year.\
  • A minimum of 1 year's experience in the specialist area of CAMHS or Intellectual Disability or willingness to attain one year's clinical specialist experience.\
  • SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF A POST REGISTRATION PROGRAM OF STUDY AT LEVEL 9 OR HIGHER RELEVANT TO THE SPECIALIST AREA OF CARE.\
  • Continuing professional development (CPD) relevant to the specialist area or willingness to obtain the required CPD.\
  • The ability to practice safely and effectively fulfilling his/her professional responsibility within his/her scope of practice.\\[/ul]\
