Actuarial Consultant - Risk Management and Valuation

We are seeking an experienced Actuarial Consultant to join our team in Ireland. As a key member of our actuarial and risk management team, you will work closely with our experienced actuaries on cutting-edge projects in insurance risk management, valuation, and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in life or non-life (re)insurance, with at least 6 years of experience and 3 years relevant experience. You will possess excellent communication, presentation, analytical skills, and the ability to simplify complex topics.

Your role will involve:

  • Partnering with clients on Solvency II/BMA EBS challenges, technical provisions, SCR calculations, internal model validation, and risk management initiatives.
  • Collaborating on investment portfolio optimisation and asset allocation aligned with risk profiles.
  • Staying ahead of evolving regulations, interpreting changes, and translating complex updates into actionable insights.
  • Building strong relationships, delivering tailored solutions, and serving as a trusted advisor aligning technical expertise with business goals.
  • Promoting knowledge-sharing, contributing to marketing and professional development, and ensuring effective communication between technical and business teams.
  • Enhancing our presence through publications, conferences, and industry networking.
  • Leading the development of innovative tools using Python, R, or other open-source technologies to deliver impactful client solutions.

You Bring

A minimum of 6 years' experience in life or non-life (re)insurance, along with a professional qualification (actuarial, risk management, etc.) with significant experience. The legal right to work in Ireland is mandatory.
