Operational Risk Management Expert

  Delta Capita seeks a high-impact Operational Permanent Control (OPC) project leader to drive effective implementation of group policies and procedures across fraud, outsourcing, conduct, IT, GDPR, and compliance risks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead OPC projects ensuring full stakeholder traceability and result analysis.
  • Define project scope, delivery approach, and integrated plans aligned with regulatory and operational risk objectives.
  • Execute control plans and methodologies ensuring remediation of results.
  • Facilitate Risk Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) and update procedural requirements in line with governance regulations.
  • Produce high-quality artefacts including status reports, dashboards, steering papers, and regulatory evidence packs.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders ensuring clear deliverables, SLAs, and change readiness.
Consulting & Leadership Responsibilities:
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients delivering high-quality consulting services and driving strategic change.
  • Manage client relationships influence decision-making and ensure successful engagement outcomes.
  • Support the growth of Delta Capita's consulting practice through thought leadership operational support and team development.
  • Lead and inspire project teams ensuring delivery excellence and continuous improvement.
Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience in consulting project management or business analysis within financial services.
  • Strong understanding of operational risk regulatory compliance and control frameworks.
  • Experience managing change programmes across strategy design build testing and go-live phases.
  • Familiarity with capital markets banking products and lifecycle events.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills with the ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.
  • High attention to detail strong analytical ability and commitment to quality assurance.
  • Experience with reporting tools such as Tableau Power BI or similar is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently manage multiple priorities and deliver under pressure.
