Accounts Receivable Specialist Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join a top-tier real estate organisation in Dublin as an Accounts Receivable Specialist.

  • Manage and control large volumes of client bank accounts, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Daily reconciliation of bank transactions with internal accounting systems to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
  • Allocate high volumes of daily receipts accurately, maintaining up-to-date records and reports.
  • Process internal bank transfers via Yardi and Salesforce systems, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Adjust tenant accounts based on instructions from letting agents and property managers, providing excellent customer service.
  • Resolve bank reconciliation discrepancies and support month-end close activities, ensuring timely completion and accuracy.
  • Liaise with tenants, colleagues, and client accountants to resolve payment queries, maintaining open communication channels.
  • Monitor tenant arrears and flag short payments or unallocated cash, taking prompt action to resolve issues.
  • Assist with reporting and analysis as required by the finance team, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a high-volume accounts receivable or finance role, with a strong understanding of financial regulations and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (Intermediate level or above), with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
