Job Overview:

Maintenance Electricians are essential to the smooth operation of our factory. As a key member of the operations team, you will be responsible for providing an ongoing maintenance service to ensure that our equipment is running efficiently and effectively.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to production in all aspects of machine and equipment maintenance, installation and modification;
  • Support maintenance planning and scheduling through completion of planned and reactive work orders;
  • Accurately input into preventative maintenance software systems for management reporting purposes;
  • Participate in continuous improvement by active involvement in repairs, upgrades, preventative maintenance, system failure investigations and execution/development of change control as required;
  • Respond to breakdowns, systematically fault find and implement solutions to prevent recurrence;
  • Uphold GMP standards;
  • Perform root cause analysis and diagnostics;
  • Exhibit behaviours that reflect a best-in-class approach to Health and Safety at all times;

Requirements:
  • Trade Qualified Electrician with strong maintenance knowledge;
  • Mechanical Experience an advantage;
  • 3-5 yrs experience in maintenance within an FMCG manufacturing environment;
  • Proven electrical fault-finding ability;
  • Knowledge and experience working with pumping systems, heavy processes and high speed packaging equipment;
  • This is a hands-on role so hands-on experience is required;
