Job Title: Toolmaker Apprentice

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist qualified toolmakers with the maintenance and repair of all moulds, jigs and fixtures in operation.
  • Work under direct supervision of a qualified toolmaker and report to the Toolroom Manager.
  • Fulfill all requirements/block release training modules as directed by SOLAS in order to achieve fully qualified status.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role you should have care, attention to detail and high precision skills. You will also need to be able to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
