Platform Owner/Architect

The platform owner/architect is responsible for the overall strategy, governance and technical ownership of the ServiceNow platform. This includes overseeing platform performance, security and data integrity across all modules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and technical ownership of the ServiceNow platform.
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to determine how the ServiceNow platform can be leveraged to help reach organizational goals.
• Oversee platform governance, including change management, release management, and compliance.
• Define and maintain the ServiceNow roadmap aligned with enterprise IT strategy.
• Lead the design and development (implementation where new) of ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM (including Cloud Provisioning & Governance), SAM, BCM, Now Assist, SecOps, and others.
• Ensure platform performance, security, and data integrity across all modules.
• Lead and mentor a team of ServiceNow developers and administrators.
• Manage integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise platforms.
• Monitor ServiceNow releases and innovations, and assess their applicability to the firm's environment.
• Support M&A integration efforts by onboarding new entities into the ServiceNow ecosystem.
• Support and guide the development and maintenance of platform documentation, standards, and best practices.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years focused on ServiceNow platform ownership and architecture.
• Proven experience leading ServiceNow implementations and/or managing enterprise-scale platforms.
• Deep knowledge of ServiceNow modules, architecture, and data model.
• Experience with scripting (JavaScript, Glide), Flow Designer, and Integration Hub.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow APIs (REST/SOAP) and integration patterns.
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes and enterprise service management.
• Experience with M&A integration projects and onboarding new business units.
• Excellent communication, leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to deliver complex, time-sensitive projects in a hybrid work environment.
