Servicing Seasonal Cuisine

• We are looking for an experienced chef to join our team of award-winning professionals in a busy hotel and golf club, renowned for serving seasonal Irish food.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently running their own section, ensuring that every dish served is of consistently high standard within the agreed timeframe.
• They will have a passion and flair for food, especially starters, and work varying shifts and up to 5 days per week in the busy kitchen department.
• In addition, they will ensure compliance with HACCP and Food Safety Regulations and liaise and communicate with colleagues effectively.
• A professional, friendly and courteous service will be provided by the successful candidate.
• They will also work with the team to ensure the designated area is properly prepared and set up prior to and after service.

• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in the industry, with a proven track record in operations with banqueting and fine dining, focusing on seasonality, Irish origin and respect for ingredients.
• A standards-driven approach and ability to work varying shifts, including daytime, weekends and evenings, are essential.
• Good knowledge of HACCP is required, as well as recognised qualifications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for this role, along with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Own transport is advantageous but not essential.
