We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate care assistant to join our team.

About the Role

As a healthcare assistant, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and assistance to our clients. Your primary focus will be on providing personal care, including toileting, meal preparation, and mobility support.

You will also be required to supervise medication, observe and listen to clients, engage with them, and manage your time effectively. Strong communication skills are essential for this role, as you will need to communicate any changes or concerns related to client needs or care.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or equivalent
  • a valid driver's license and access to a car
  • the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
