Senior Quality Manager – Automotive Tech

Job Title: Senior Quality Manager - Automotive Tech

We are seeking a seasoned Quality Management Specialist to join our growing team in Dublin, Ireland. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing quality management systems, processes, and improvement activities within the company.

Our client is a dynamic and innovative technology company that produces market-disrupting sensor technology supporting road stakeholders to understand the readiness of road networks for Advance Driver Assist Systems (ADAS) in vehicles and Semi-Autonomous and Autonomous Vehicles. They design and develop software, hardware, optics, and illumination systems.

About the Role
  • Develop and implement quality assurance frameworks in accordance with ISO 9001 standards.
  • Lead internal and external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Manage corrective actions to address quality issues and improve processes for both software and hardware products.
  • Oversee supplier quality management, including supplier audits and performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to determine and implement quality improvement initiatives and metrics as part of all manufacturing and R&D activities.
  • Conduct quality risk assessments and implement risk management strategies.
  • Train and mentor staff to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Prepare quality reports and presentations for senior management and for regulatory and standards bodies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a senior quality management role, in an environment of hardware and software development, system manufacture & service/support.
  • Hands-on experience managing Quality Management Systems (QMS) and testing.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, Six Sigma, and other quality management systems.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance (e.g., CE marking).
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
