My client requires a
Senior
Quality Manager
to join their growing team.
This new key role will be responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing all quality management systems, processes and improvement activities within the company.
They are a dynamic and innovative technology company producing market disruptive sensor technology that supports road stakeholders to understand the readiness of road networks for Advance Driver Assist Systems (ADAS) in vehicles and Semi-Autonomous and Autonomous Vehicles.
They design & develop software, hardware, optics and illumination systems.
They are expanding rapidly across Europe and the USA and have a solid growth trajectory and the candidate will be key in providing high level support for their customers.
You'll join a growing company with a close-knit team of engineers who love their work.
You'll ideally have 7-10 years' experience as a Quality Manager in a small /medium sized technology OEM with good relevant experience implementing and maintaining quality systems in an environment that encapsulates a complete product lifecycle from concept to support/EOL with products that include both hardware and software technologies.
Responsibilities
This new senior Quality role involves leading small but growing quality team to ensure compliance with industry standards, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining high-quality standards across all products and services range.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement quality management systems (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 standards.
Lead internal and external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address quality issues and improve processes for both our software and hardware products.
Oversee supplier quality management, including supplier audits and performance evaluations.
Lead the implementation of our ISO 9001:2015 within the business, this includes launching a new Quality Management System (QMS) within the business.
Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to determine and implement quality improvement projects and metrics as part of all manufacturing and R&D activities.
Conduct quality risk assessments and implement risk management strategies.
Train and mentor all staff to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Prepare quality reports and presentations for senior management and for regulatory and standards bodies.
Monitor RMS's entire development and production cycle and with a view to making continuous improvements on the whole process, this includes identifying the root of technical issues and helping the RMS team develop solutions.
Experience needed
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or a related field
Minimum of 7 years of experience in a senior quality management role, in an environment of hardware and software development, system manufacture & service/support.
Hands-on experience managing Quality Management Systems (QMS) and testing
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, Six Sigma, and other quality management systems.
Experience with regulatory compliance (e.g., CE marking).
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to analyse produce data and identify trends and areas for improvement.
Familiarity with statistical analysis
Skills:
Excellent Communication skills – fluency in English is essential.
Great attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Team spirit and ability to work independently.
Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and precision.
Candidates must be eligible to work in Ireland/EU,
Full Clean Irish Driving Licence
Permanent role in Dublin South.
Salary negotiable, dependant on candidate experience.
