Job Overview:

As a Late Night Bartender, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service in our late-night bar. Your primary responsibility will be to provide a welcoming and professional environment for our guests, ensuring their needs are met while adhering to high standards of cleanliness and organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Deliver excellent customer service in a friendly and professional manner, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, wines, beers, and spirits, maintaining accurate inventory levels and minimizing waste.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization within the premises, adhering to hotel policies and procedures.
  • Cash Handling: Handle cash, credit card transactions, and operate POS systems accurately, managing cash floats and making change as necessary.
  • Guest Management: Monitor guest behavior and manage situations discreetly and professionally, escalating issues to management if required.
  • Inventory Management: Restock and manage bar inventory efficiently, monitoring stock levels and ordering supplies as needed.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members/departments to ensure smooth late-night operations, sharing knowledge and best practices to improve overall performance.
  • Sales and Upselling: Promote upselling of premium beverages and special offers, maximizing revenue opportunities while maintaining excellent customer service.
  • Closing Procedures: Assist with closing down the bar, including cleaning, stock checks, and reporting, in line with hotel procedures.
Person Specification:

Essential: Experience: Minimum of one year previous experience as a bartender in a hotel or similar professional environment. Skills: Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, and premium spirits, excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and professional in a late-night environment, reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Flexible with working hours, including weekends, holidays, and late finishes.
