We are a company funded by the Health Service Executive (HSE), TUSLA, and the Department of Education and Skills.
**Job Summary:** A temporary Specific Purpose 6-month vacancy exists within our Service Area for a Service Manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and ensuring high standards of quality care to nursing residential houses.
The position offers a unique opportunity to influence service quality and work closely with the Directorate Management team and dedicated staff.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Human resource management
- Health, safety, and quality assurance
- Budgets and implementation of national policies and standards
The successful candidate will have responsibility for key areas including human resource management, health, safety, and quality assurance, budgets, and the implementation of national policies and standards.
They will assist the Director of Nursing in managing the overall service and developing services and supports provided to service users.
**Ideal Candidate:**
A recognised third-level degree in nursing, at least 5 years relevant experience in the disability field, and a recognised management qualification are essential.
Strong communication skills, leadership characteristics, and experience in developing and delivering services as they relate to adults and children with disability or complex needs are also required.
Experience of working in a regulated environment and implementing HIQA standards is an advantage.
**Salary and Benefits:** The successful candidate will be paid in line with appropriate salary scales commensurate with their qualifications and experience.
