The VT Instructor plays a vital role in our team, responsible for delivering high-quality training and development programs that meet the needs of our learners. The ideal candidate will possess excellent education and training qualifications, with experience working in specialized training environments and with people with intellectual disabilities and ASD.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Deliver systematic training according to specified curricula, with a focus on QQI Levels 3 + 4 certification
  • Facilitate participants in developing the knowledge, skills, and confidence necessary to secure progression outcomes
  • Meet key performance indicators related to learner placement and progression, as well as achievement of certification targets
  • Liaise with stakeholders to maintain program allocations and support learners in reviewing previous experiences and exploring future goals
Requirements:
  • Education and Training to 3rd level standard
  • Experience working in a specialized training environment
  • Specific training qualification (e.g., Train the Trainer)
  • Experience working with people with intellectual disabilities and ASD
