Laboratory Operations Specialist

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Perform cleanroom, BSC & Isolator batch related monitoring to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct utility sampling of water systems and Compressed Air/Gas to identify potential quality issues.
  • Carry out In-Process testing of critical lot related samples to support manufacturing activities (HPLC and UV Spectrophotometry).
  • Issue, receive, and test biological indicators to verify their effectiveness.
  • Read and report environmental monitoring, BIs, and aseptic qualification sample results to stakeholders.
  • Reconcile and inspect media fill units, and participate in media fills to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Identify microorganisms isolated post-testing activities to inform quality control measures.
  • Document laboratory activities accurately and timely in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and Registered Specifications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or a related field.
  • Proven experience working in pharmaceutical/healthcare laboratories or related technical functions.
  • Familiarity with aseptic techniques and isolators is advantageous.
  • Experience with HPLC and UV Spectrophotometry is desirable but not essential.
  • Knowledge of MODA, Empower, CIMS, LIMS, LES, and Veeva Vault is also beneficial.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective collaboration.
