We are seeking an experienced Anaesthetist to join our dynamic team in a well-equipped, modern hospital.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality anaesthesia services across surgical specialties and contributing to multidisciplinary care.

The successful candidate will be expected to provide consultant-level anaesthetic care, participate in the perioperative care of surgical patients, and supervise and support junior healthcare professionals.

Additionally, they will engage in clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to the teaching of medical students and junior doctors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide consultant-level anaesthetic care across elective and emergency services
  • Participate in the perioperative care of surgical patients
  • Supervise and support junior healthcare professionals
  • Engage in clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to the teaching of medical students and junior doctors
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, applicants must have registration on the Specialist Division of the Register of Medical Practitioners maintained by the Medical Council of Ireland in the specialty of Anaesthesiology.

They should also possess proven clinical experience at consultant or senior registrar level, completion of specialist training in Anaesthesiology (CCST/CCT or equivalent), and meet HSE English language proficiency requirements.
