Financial Accountant Position

The role of a Financial Accountant involves ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reports. This position requires an individual with expertise in general accounting, preferably with experience in multinational manufacturing environments.

The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of SAP FICO or Oracle, as well as excellent MS Excel skills and numerical abilities. They should be able to maintain the Fixed Asset register, prepare monthly journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and assist with reporting package preparation.

Additionally, the Financial Accountant will manage inventory general ledger controlling, insurance cost analysis, and assist with internal and external audit queries. They must ensure timely execution of intercompany recharges and support the 'Lean Finance' approach by contributing to process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the Fixed Asset register.
  • Prepare monthly SAP journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Manage inventory general ledger controlling and insurance cost analysis.
  • Assist with internal and external audit queries.
  • Support process improvements within the finance function.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of general accounting experience within a finance function.
  • Experience working in a multinational manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP FICO or Oracle is essential.
  • Excellent MS Excel skills and strong numeracy skills are required.
