Senior Financial Strategist

A well-established automotive organization is looking for an ambitious Commercial Finance Manager due to internal growth opportunities. This role will collaborate with the Finance Director to manage financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for the group.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform data analysis and business planning to support financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term strategic plans
- Maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to inform strategic decision-making
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed
- Prepare and present financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, alongside projections and variance analytics for senior management and stakeholders
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Proven professional experience in finance or accounting roles
- Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and accounting principles
- Proficiency in data analysis and financial reporting; experience managing large data sets is essential
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Automotive industry experience is advantageous but not necessary
- Strong people management skills with the ability to lead effectively
- Commercial awareness with a focus on driving profitability
Undertake ad-hoc duties as required by the Finance Director
