Financial Strategist

The role of a Finance Director is pivotal in driving strategic financial decisions to support business objectives.
We are seeking an accomplished and results-driven professional with significant commercial acumen to oversee the finance function and contribute to the Senior Leadership Team.
Your excellent leadership and financial competencies will enable you to develop and implement effective financial strategies, manage internal and external stakeholders, and ensure compliance with banking covenants and statutory obligations.
Main Responsibilities:- Lead the finance team and drive the development of best practices.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including the Board, sponsors, UEFA, FIFA, Government, Sport Ireland, banks, and the wider football community.
- Oversee the application of accounting standards and prepare financial reports.
- Contribute to the achievement of business objectives by providing expert advice on financial strategy.
- 10+ years of senior leadership experience in a client/consumer-driven environment.
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or CIMA).
- Demonstrable track record of driving financial strategies in a corporate environment.
- Strong skills in budgeting/forecasting, financial analysis, and risk management.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with significant team management experience.
