Job Title: Financial Strategist

Description

We are seeking a skilled Financial Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing the company's financial strategy.

  • Identify opportunities and financial risks, ensuring reliable execution of monthly/quarterly/yearly controlling tasks.
  • Support the Finance Business Partner (FBP) and/or Head of Controlling in shaping and executing the performance management cycle.
  • Act as a consultant to stakeholders across finance and wider business, optimizing business steering via value-added reporting and analytics.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial accounting topics, including month end closing, Profit & Loss Statement (P&L), Balance Sheet, statutory accounting, and audit.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, business, or economics.
  • ACCA/CIMA qualification is a plus but not a requirement.

Critical thinking, analytical problem-solving skills, self-motivation, adaptability to change, and a dynamic personality are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyzing complex financial data to identify trends and insights.
  • Developing and driving a wide range of financial analysis focused on business trends and evaluation of performance projections and reports.
  • Proposing options to exploit opportunities with financial impact across the organization.

A strong MS Excel skillset is required, along with an understanding of P&L statement and financial processes such as Accruals and Deferrals.
