Job Duties:

  • Welcome guests warmly and efficiently to the conference areas, creating a positive first impression
  • Prepare and maintain tea/coffee stations, ensuring a consistent level of service throughout the event
  • Collaborate with the Conference & Banqueting Manager/Supervisor to address any concerns or issues that may arise

Built strong relationships with other departments to meet the specific needs of large groups or individuals, such as coordinating room assignments or special requests. Adhere to a high standard of personal hygiene and grooming at all times, wearing clean and suitable uniform.

Ensure reusable tableware and condiments are returned for cleaning and refilling. Assist in setting up and breaking down special event equipment, such as buffet tables, bars, and serving utensils. Perform additional duties, including refilling condiments, sorting linens, and storing serving equipment.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service, anticipating and meeting guest needs
  • Maintain effective communication with colleagues and management to ensure seamless operations
  • Stay alert and focused during peak periods to achieve outstanding results
