Meeting and Events Coordinator Job

We are seeking a highly motivated Meeting and Events Coordinator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to manage weddings, meetings, and special events from enquiry to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all wedding, meeting, and event enquiries, show-arounds, and follow-ups
  • Guide clients in building their wedding package using strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Maintain and update listings on third-party event platforms
  • Plan open evenings, attend trade shows, and follow up on all leads to secure bookings
  • Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to deliver seamless events
  • Manage bookings for small meetings, social events, and family occasions
  • Prepare proposals, input bookings into the system, and ensure payments are received
  • Complete administrative tasks including menus, seating plans, and signage
  • Conduct post-event feedback calls and proactive sales outreach

Requirements:

  • Experience in weddings, meetings, or events within hospitality
  • Proven record of achieving sales targets
  • Excellent organisation, communication, and attention to detail
  • Flexible to work evenings and weekends when required
  • Proficiency in booking systems and Microsoft Office
