Project Coordinator - Mechanical Specialist

Job Summary: Our client is a specialist in cleanroom construction, HVAC services, heat recovery and carbon emission reduction projects.

Job Description:

The Project Coordinator will work on one of our clients key projects. The office-based role will also have a sizeable 'on-site' element.

The Project Coordinator, in tandem with the project team, will be responsible for:

  • Generating a project schedule
  • Monitoring of project progress
  • Preparing of both weekly and monthly progress reports

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with project manager and all project stakeholders to provide any necessary assistance and/or support
  • Review project deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions throughout the duration of the project
  • Preparation of schedules, coordination and monitoring of assigned project

Requirements:

Relevant 3rd level qualification.

2+ years work experience in project planning, ideally in industrial construction or mechanical engineering areas.

Previous experience working on site-based projects.

Strong commercial management background and awareness.

Proficiency in Microsoft Project Management & Primavera P6 portfolio management software.

Excellent presentation & IT skills.

A positive attitude with a passion to succeed, an energetic approach and an ability to take accountability.

The ability to contribute comfortably as part of a team.
