This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Sr. Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the Accounts Payable department's daily operations, implementing and maintaining processes, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Lead the Accounts Payable team in managing daily operations.
- Develop and implement effective accounts payable processes and controls.
- Process invoices and credit notes accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare payments to vendors according to agreed schedules.
- Communicate with vendors to resolve any issues that may arise.
- Closely monitor and reconcile creditors' ledger statements monthly.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies with procurement and internal departments.
- Support the year-end audit process.
- Identify areas for improvement in the AP process and implement changes accordingly.
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience in AP with a strong understanding of finance and accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using an integrated ERP system.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- The ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
