**Job Title:** Site Operations Manager

Role Overview:

The Site Operations Manager is accountable for the smooth operation, upkeep, and continuous improvement of site infrastructure, services, and packaging operations within a pet food manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implementing corrective and preventative actions for existing equipment and maintenance processes to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conducting thorough troubleshooting for complex issues with plant equipment and associated systems, identifying and recommending effective solutions.
  • Assisting in investigations of utility systems, control system anomalies, and safety incidents to mitigate risks.
  • Supervising mechanical, electrical, and automation contractors to guarantee high-quality workmanship.
  • Interpreting P&IDs, equipment/system layouts, wiring diagrams, and specifications to plan and execute maintenance and repairs efficiently.
Key Performance Metrics:
  • Targeted utilities and packing equipment availability achieved.
  • Zero factory hard down situations through effective escalation and case management/contingency planning and execution.
  • Repair and maintenance budget targets accomplished.
  • Audit compliance targets, both internal and external, achieved.
  • Sustainability goals on CO2 and water consumption met.
  • Continuous improvement objectives realized.

**Personal Competencies and Qualifications:** The ideal candidate will possess analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, process orientation, exceptional communication skills, project management expertise, leadership experience, and proficiency in engineering software and Microsoft 365 applications.
